Affinity groups are a critical support network to overcoming potential barriers to groups who are historically underrepresented in construction trades, including Latinas, veterans and people who may be differently abled. LatinoBuilt’s Veteran Affinity groups provide positive peer-to-peer interactions, identity-building, and leadership development.
