LatinoBuilt announced today that their Executive Director, George Carrillo, will depart from the organization effective September 21, 2023. George has been instrumental in the growth and success of LatinoBuilt and has been an essential team member for this year.
The LatinoBuilt Board of Directors sincerely thanks and appreciates George’s contributions in the past year. Under George’s leadership, LatinoBuilt has made significant strides in serving Latino contractors by training and advocating for them and building operational infrastructure for LatinoBuilt’s team and planned growth.
With a focus on continuity in organization operations, the Board of Directors has taken immediate steps to identify and appoint an interim Executive Director, Rosa Martinez, LatinoBuilt’s current Board President, who will ensure seamless operations during the transition period. Hugo Zavala will step into the Board President position during this time. The Board is committed to finding a highly qualified new Executive Director who will steer the organization to even greater achievements in the future.
